Action Square Relocates Headquarters to Parent Company YJM Games Building
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Action Square announced on the 23rd that it has relocated its headquarters to Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where its parent company YJM Games is located.
A company representative stated, "By co-locating in the same space as YJM Games, we plan to reduce physical distance and maximize synergy in the game business through close collaboration," adding, "We expect to develop games in various genres by utilizing the different intellectual properties (IPs) held by YJM Games and Action Square."
The parent company YJM Games released the mobile game 'Samgukji Black Label' in 2018 and 'Samgukji Inside' last year. Action Square has developed and is servicing 'Blade for Kakao', 'Blade 2 for Kakao', and 'Samguk Blade', all based on the 'Blade' IP.
Action Square is preparing to enter overseas markets with 'Samguk Blade' this year. The plan is to launch 'Samguk Blade' in Japan within the first half of this year and release it in the Chinese market once the publishing license is granted.
