North Korea to Hold Supreme People's Assembly in Pyongyang on the 10th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] North Korean authorities have decided to hold the Supreme People's Assembly in Pyongyang on April 10. The Supreme People's Assembly is the equivalent of our National Assembly.
The Korean Central News Agency reported on the 21st that the 3rd session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly will be convened in Pyongyang on the 10th of next month. Prior to this, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly announced through a public notice released the previous day that delegate registration will also take place on the same day.
The Supreme People's Assembly is the body that North Korea externally presents as its sovereign institution, possessing budgetary and legislative functions.
