2 Additional COVID-19 Deaths Reported... Total 102 Deaths in South Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Daegu have died, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 102.
According to Daegu City on the 20th, A (78, female), who was receiving isolated treatment at Hansarang Nursing Hospital, passed away around 4 p.m. that day.
A was confirmed positive for COVID-19 following a full investigation by Daegu City on the 17th and was scheduled to be transferred to the Veterans Hospital that day. She was known to have underlying conditions including Parkinson's disease, dementia, and hypothyroidism.
Earlier that day, around 1:40 p.m., B (82, female), who was hospitalized and receiving treatment at Daesil Nursing Hospital, also died.
She had been admitted to the hospital since June 2018 and suffered from Cushing's syndrome and arthritis.
