Lotte Confectionery Launches Second Edition of Jipyeong Saeng Makgeolli Bread Including 'Icheon Rice Cream Bread'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Lotte Confectionery's mass-produced bread brand Lotte Girin announced on the 20th that it has conducted a second collaboration with Jipyeong Brewery's 'Jipyeong Saeng Makgeolli,' launching two mass-produced bread products: 'Icheon Rice Cream Puff Bread' and 'Sweet Red Bean Cream Bread.'
The first collaboration between Lotte Confectionery and Jipyeong Brewery was in August last year, with the release of three products: 'Whole Sweet Red Bean Bread,' 'Sweet Red Bean Soboro,' and 'Corn Soboro Cream Puff.' These products have been popular, selling approximately 1.5 million units by February. Building on this popularity, two additional products have been introduced, bringing the total lineup of Jipyeong Saeng Makgeolli breads to five. The packaging design prominently features Jipyeong Brewery's 'Jipyeong Saeng Makgeolli,' emphasizing the collaboration between the brands.
