Saemaeul Geumgo Donates 1.1 Billion Won to Support COVID-19 Damage Recovery
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Saemaeul Geumgo announced on the 19th that it has donated over 1.1 billion won in relief funds to the National Disaster Relief Association to aid recovery from the damage caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The fundraising involved 1,284 Saemaeul Geumgo branches nationwide, the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association, and employees of its subsidiaries, who also contributed an additional 12 million won from individual employee donations to help expedite the end of the COVID-19 crisis and minimize its damage.
