Seongnam Mayor Eun Su-mi Undergoes COVID-19 Test
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Eun Soo-mi, mayor of Seongnam City, underwent a test for the "novel coronavirus infection" (COVID-19) on the 18th.
Earlier, on the morning of the 6th, Mayor Eun held an emergency meeting in the conference room of the annex building at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital with Lee Sang-yong, director of Bundang Jesaeng Hospital, and others to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Director Lee was confirmed positive for COVID-19 in the early morning of the 18th.
Accordingly, Mayor Eun, along with seven senior officials of Seongnam City including Secretary General Oh Kyu-hong who attended the meeting, underwent testing on the same day.
Mayor Eun is currently under self-quarantine, and the test results are expected to be released in the afternoon of the same day.

Through Facebook on the same day, Mayor Eun stated, "When a cluster infection occurred within Bundang Jesaeng Hospital on the 6th, I held an emergency countermeasure meeting that morning with Director Lee Sang-yong and others," adding, "Today (the 18th), I experienced symptoms of headache and runny nose, and upon the recommendation of infectious disease experts, I underwent testing."
