[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jong-hyo] Lee Eon-ju, the pre-candidate for Busan Nam-gu Eul of the United Future Party, is quelling the nomination controversies that have arisen by consecutively gaining the support of pre-candidates who were not nominated.
On the afternoon of the 17th, Seo Il-gyeong, a pre-candidate who ran for Busan Nam-gu Eul of the United Future Party, held a press conference at the main gate of the Busan City Council and said, "The time spent as a pre-candidate was a grueling march that I could not have endured without the help of my supporters," and expressed regret to his supporters, saying, "I did my best, but unfortunately, I could not meet your expectations."
Seo continued, "I feel both unfair and disappointed about the party's decision, but I believe now is the time to fight against the Moon Jae-in administration," and stated, "I support pre-candidate Lee Eon-ju, who can check the government and oppose it for the development of Nam-gu."
He urged Lee, saying, "Please defeat the Democratic Party candidate in Busan and bring about a groundbreaking change in Busan's development," and added, "Since you have returned to your hometown, I hope you will carry out legislative activities with passion for Busan's development."
In response, Lee said, "I firmly believe that the candidates who ran together will join the path to stop the Democratic Party's reckless actions and set our country straight," and promised, "I will run hard and definitely show victory."
