352 Domestic COVID-19 Pediatric and Adolescent Patients... No Deaths or Severe Cases (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Among the confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea, 352 patients are children and adolescents aged 18 or younger. Among them, there were no deaths or severe cases, and 56 patients have been declared recovered.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters for COVID-19 disclosed the status related to children and adolescents among the cumulative confirmed cases in the country on the 17th. Among the pediatric and adolescent patients, those aged 16-18 were the most numerous at 128. There were 83 patients aged 13-15, 87 aged 7-12, 27 aged 3-6, and 27 aged 0-2.

Excluding those who have recovered, 296 patients are currently in isolation, with an isolation release rate of 15.9%. This is 0.9 percentage points lower than the overall isolation release rate of 16.8% across all age groups.
