Jungjingong Donates 10 Million Won to Support Daegu Self-Quarantine Patients
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 17th that it has donated 10 million won to the Gyeongsangnam-do branch of the Korean Red Cross.
This donation was prepared to share the difficulties caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Daegu area. The funds were raised through voluntary participation of the employees of the Small and Medium Business Corporation by rounding down their salaries.
The donation will be used to produce 250 emergency food sets for Daegu residents under self-quarantine who have difficulty purchasing daily necessities due to restricted external access. The emergency food sets will be composed mainly of essential food items necessary for the minimum diet of self-quarantined individuals and will be distributed through local public health centers.
