On the day, Kim Myung-seop, spokesperson for Gyeongnam Province, explained in a briefing, "The number of COVID-19 recoveries increased by 3 from the previous day, totaling 19. The number of people in self-quarantine also decreased from a peak of 1,462 on the 2nd to 154 currently."
According to Spokesperson Kim, among the 81 confirmed cases in the province, 62 are hospitalized, and 19 have recovered and been discharged. The investigation of the first group of 60 high-risk workers, including welfare facilities, daycare centers, kindergartens, and medical personnel related to Shincheonji, has been completed, and all tested negative. Currently, tests are being conducted on the second group of 144 people, with 51 confirmed negative so far, 20 under testing, and 13 scheduled for testing.

Spokesperson Kim added, "We are also providing special management for foreign entrants," stating, "So far, 73 people have entered from Italy (20), Spain (19), and France (7). Dedicated officials have been assigned to conduct active monitoring."
