According to the report, the Canadian Prime Minister's Office stated in a press release that Gregoire is in isolation and is not seriously ill. Earlier, the Canadian government announced that Gregoire showed mild COVID-19 symptoms, underwent testing, and that the Prime Minister and his wife entered self-quarantine together.
The spokesperson explained, "Prime Minister Trudeau is in good health and shows no symptoms," adding, "Following preventive measures and medical advice, Prime Minister Trudeau will enter a 14-day self-quarantine." The doctor mentioned that since Trudeau currently shows no symptoms, there is no need for him to be tested, and he plans to follow this advice.
Gregoire said in a statement, "I am experiencing uncomfortable symptoms due to COVID-19 but will recover soon." The Prime Minister's Office also explained that the Trudeau couple has three children, all of whom are showing no symptoms.
