'Jeon Du-hwan Tracker' Im Han-sol "Priority for Proportional Representation Candidacy"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Im Han-sol, former vice-chairman of the Justice Party and known as the 'Jeon Du-hwan Tracker,' stated on the 12th, "I was recruited by the Minsheng Party and was encouraged by the leadership to run as a proportional representation candidate. It is a priority for me."
Former Vice-Chairman Im made these remarks at a press conference held at the Gwangju City Council on the same day to announce his joining of the Minsheng Party.
Im said, "A reform party that goes beyond the two-party confrontation politics is necessary for South Korea. I expect the Minsheng Party to faithfully fulfill that role," adding, "As someone in my 30s, I felt a strong will toward the future generation from the Minsheng Party, which encouraged me to run as a proportional representation candidate."

He also stated, "The investigation of the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement and the punishment of those responsible are not just Gwangju's past but key tasks for South Korea's history to turn the next page," and added, "I believed that the Minsheng Party would take the lead in correcting the painful history of Gwangju citizens and Honam people and in the investigation and punishment related to May 18."
