The United Future Party Supreme Council, including leader Hwang Kyo-ahn, resolved this in a closed meeting on the same day and conveyed it to the Nomination Management Committee.
In Incheon Yeonsu-eul, incumbent lawmaker Min Kyung-wook was cut off (excluded from nomination), and former lawmaker Min Hyun-joo, classified as part of the Yoo Seung-min faction, was nominated. In Daegu Dalseo-gap, incumbent lawmaker Kwak Dae-hoon was cut off, and former lawmaker Lee Du-a, who served as a proportional representative in the 18th National Assembly, was nominated.
Busan Buk·Gangseo-eul is the district where lawmaker Kim Do-eup declared he would not run, and Kim Won-sung, a Supreme Council member of the United Future Party from the Future Forward 4.0 (Jeonjin Party), was nominated.
Besides these, the Supreme Council is reportedly considering requesting reconsideration for Gyeongnam Geoje, where lawmaker Kim Han-pyo was cut off and candidate Seo Il-jun was recommended unopposed; Busan Jin-gu-gap, where former Busan Mayor Seo Byung-soo received a strategic nomination; and Seoul Gangnam-deul, where former Macquarie Investment Asset Management President Choi Hong was strategically nominated. They are demanding that existing applicants be included in the primaries.
There was also a request to review the strategic nomination of former North Korean Ambassador to the UK, Tae Yong-ho, in Seoul Gangnam-gap, but it was decided not to request reconsideration. There was no discussion regarding former leader Hong Joon-pyo, who was excluded from nomination in Gyeongnam Yangsan-eul. Gangwon Gangneung, where lawmaker Kwon Seong-dong was cut off, was not included in the reconsideration request list on this day.
If the party's Nomination Management Committee receives a request for reconsideration from the Supreme Council, judging that a re-examination of the nomination results is necessary, it must hold a meeting for re-evaluation. If six or more of the nine committee members (two-thirds) agree, the results may change. However, there is a view that the possibility of the reconsideration request being accepted is low.
