People Party Forms Proportional Representation Recommendation Management Committee... Focused on External Members
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 12th, the People’s Party announced the formation of the Proportional Representation Candidate Recommendation Management Committee.
In a press release on the same day, the People’s Party stated, “We broke away from the past 50-50 composition ratio between internal and external party members and formed the committee mainly with external members,” adding, “We aimed to actively reflect the young and professional perspectives of academia and businesspeople in their 30s, 40s, and early 50s, including young people in their 30s, in the candidate recommendation process.”
The chairperson of the Proportional Representation Recommendation Management Committee was appointed as Professor Jeong Yeon-jeong of the Department of Public Administration at Paichai University. The members include ▲ Kim Seon-sik, CEO of Intralinks Korea Branch ▲ Kim Eun-kyung, Professor of Performing Arts at Baekseok Arts University ▲ Song Kyung-taek, former head coach of the South Korean short track national team under the Korea Skating Union ▲ Lee Dong-hyun, Chief Financial Officer of Respect Small Money Co., Ltd. ▲ Jang Yoon-seok, founder & CEO of Artrees ▲ Joo Jae-woo, Professor of Chinese Language at Kyung Hee University.
