Irish Whiskey Jameson Releases 'Limited Edition' to Celebrate 'St. Patrick's Day'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Pernod Ricard Korea's Irish whiskey brand 'Jameson' announced on the 12th that it will release a 2020 limited edition to celebrate Ireland's representative holiday, 'St. Patrick's Day.'
St. Patrick's Day is a day to honor Saint Patrick, who first spread Christianity in Ireland. Every year on March 17th, various festivals and parades featuring green colors and clovers symbolizing Saint Patrick take place in Ireland as well as in countries around the world such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
This year's 'Jameson Limited Edition' was created in collaboration with Irish graphic artist 'Stephen Hafferman.' The limited edition product, themed around 'moments connecting with friends,' is composed of icons symbolizing precious moments shared with friends, featuring Jameson's unique trendy and witty brand philosophy.
In particular, by scanning the QR code located on the bottle neck, consumers can decorate their own labels through the online site 'Jameson Whiskey Label Maker.' This allows consumers to become creators themselves, completing and sharing their own label designs, conveying the meaning of providing moments of connection for everyone regardless of country or region.
