Hankom Group Provides AI Call Center Platform for Free
NBP Donates High-Performance Cloud Infrastructure at No Cost
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Hancom Group and Naver Business Platform (NBP) announced on the 12th that they will provide an artificial intelligence (AI) call center system free of charge to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
Hancom Group will fully support the costs required for providing the AI call center platform free of charge and system construction, while NBP plans to donate high-performance cloud infrastructure free of charge to ensure stable operation of public services.
Hancom Group's AI call center, "Hancom AI Check25," is a system that can monitor the health status of active watchers and self-quarantined individuals, such as fever, body temperature, and cough. It immediately digitizes the responses of the subjects and allows instant confirmation of data statistics and analysis results.
Through this, local governments and regional health centers can check the status of all managed subjects at a glance. It also supports Chinese, enabling monitoring of Chinese international students residing in Korea and residents living in China.
Jeonju City was the first to confirm adoption and will start operating the AI call center from the 20th, and Anyang City is also considering adoption. Hancom Group plans to expand donations of the Hancom AI call center to overseas Korean communities in need.
Kim Sang-chul, Chairman of Hancom Group, said, "As a leading domestic software and IT company, we will mobilize all advanced technologies to contribute to overcoming the national disaster situation."
