Two COVID-19 Patients Die in Gyeongbuk...Total Domestic Deaths Reach 65 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 11th, two confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) died in Gyeongbuk, raising the total death toll to 65.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the day, a 73-year-old man residing in Gyeongsan died of sepsis around 1:30 PM while receiving treatment at the National Medical Center. This man was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the 26th of last month and had been hospitalized for treatment at Pohang Medical Center, Samsung Seoul Hospital, and the National Medical Center.
Earlier that day, at around 9:58 AM, a 90-year-old woman who was admitted to Bonghwa Pureun Nursing Home and was transferred to Gimcheon Medical Center after testing positive died. She was confirmed positive on the 4th and reportedly died due to worsening pneumonia symptoms during hospital treatment.
