Two Additional COVID-19 Patients in Seodaemun-gu... One Linked to Guro Call Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Seoul Seodaemun-gu announced on the 11th that two additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been reported, bringing the total to six.
According to Seodaemun-gu Office on the day, one of them is a 51-year-old woman who is a confirmed case related to the call center in Guro-gu, Seoul. She underwent specimen testing at the Seodaemun-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 10th and received a positive result that morning. The confirmed patient stated that she did not go anywhere else except commuting to and from work from the 3rd to the 8th.
The other confirmed patient is a 21-year-old woman who is a Chinese international student. After entering from Hebei Province, China on January 29, she stayed continuously at an acquaintance's house in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, and showed COVID-19 symptoms on the 8th of this month. On the 10th, she visited Hana Bank Myeongji University Humanities Campus branch at 2 p.m., then underwent specimen testing at Severance Hospital's safe clinic at 3:30 p.m., and visited Jeongmun Pharmacy in Changcheon-dong and McDonald's Yonsei University branch at 5 p.m.
