Medical Gloves and Vitamin Drinks Delivered to Masan Hospital and Daegu Fire Brigade Union
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Students at Gyeongnam National University collected donations and donated medical supplies to the National Masan Hospital and the Daegu Fire Brigade Union, which are engaged in disaster relief activities on the front lines of quarantine to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This student donation campaign began on the 2nd through the online community 'Everytime.' By the 5th, 219 students participated, raising a total of 2.79 million won.
Seo Ye-ji (Class of 2018, Department of Public Administration), who first proposed the fundraising, explained, "To ensure transparency in the fundraising activities, we shared the progress through a public KakaoTalk chat room and decided on the use of the donations and donation methods entirely through voting."
The students decided to send medical latex gloves and simple food and beverages to the National Masan Hospital and the Daegu Fire Brigade Union, and on the morning of the 10th, they first sent the prepared medical latex gloves.
