Toss Credit Card Launches in April... "Up to 3% Cashback for 3 Months"
When applying during the pre-reservation period, card applications and deliveries will proceed sequentially from the 23rd.
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Viva Republica, which operates the mobile financial service Toss, announced on the 10th that it plans to launch its first private label credit card (PLCC), the 'Toss Credit Card,' in collaboration with Hana Card on the 1st of next month.
The Toss Credit Card will have Hana Card responsible for card production and issuance, while Toss will handle card member recruitment and marketing.
Any Toss member aged 19 or older can apply for the Toss Credit Card remotely and receive issuance after Hana Card's screening. The annual fee is 10,000 KRW.
This card offers up to 3% cashback on payment amounts within a monthly limit of 100,000 KRW if the previous month's usage and additional conditions are met. The cashback amount is settled and paid as Toss Money the following month. After three months, cashback of 0.5% to 1.5% on payment amounts will be provided until the end of the year based on usage performance.
Additionally, until the end of this year, when paying at any overseas online or offline merchant affiliated with Visa, Toss Credit Card's overseas payment partner, 3% of the payment amount will be provided as Toss Money the following month regardless of the previous month's usage, within the maximum cashback limit. A fee equivalent to 3 USD per transaction will be waived for cash withdrawals at overseas ATMs.

To commemorate the card launch, a pre-registration event will be held until the 22nd. The reservation page can be accessed by clicking the 'Toss Credit Card Pre-registration' menu in the All tab within the Toss app or through a separate webpage. Non-members can complete pre-registration after installing and signing up for the Toss app. Members who complete pre-registration can sequentially apply for and receive the card starting from the 23rd.
