On the 9th, Daegu City announced that it transferred 46 Shincheonji Church members who tested positive for COVID-19 to a living treatment center and lifted the cohort quarantine for all apartment residents. Thirty-eight general residents who were not Shincheonji members were released from self-quarantine.

Although 48 Shincheonji members tested negative, they continue to maintain self-quarantine. Among the 140 residents of the entire apartment complex, 94 were Shincheonji members. The city imposed cohort quarantine on all residents after a surge of confirmed cases in the apartment, but lifted it after transferring all confirmed patients.
