View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] A woman in her 70s who was hospitalized at the Pureun Nursing Home in Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk, and tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has died.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 8th, a 78-year-old woman residing in Daegu was confirmed positive at Pureun Nursing Home, classified as a COVID-19 cluster infection site in Gyeongbuk. She was transferred to Gimcheon Medical Center on the 6th and received treatment but died of pneumonia around 2 p.m. on the 7th. She was known to have underlying conditions such as heart disease and dementia.
