44th COVID-19 Death Reported in Gangwon: 91-Year-Old Woman Confirmed Posthumously

According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 6th, A (91, female), who was hospitalized at Bonghwa Haesung Hospital on the 4th, passed away. A was tested for COVID-19 posthumously and was confirmed positive on the same day. This is the first COVID-19 death reported in the Gangwon region.
Earlier on the same day, confirmed patient B (71) died at Kyungpook National University Hospital in Daegu.
