Former Alibaba Chairman Ma Yun Donates 1 Million Masks to Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Jack Ma, the founder of e-commerce company Alibaba and former chairman of Alibaba, is donating 1 million masks to Korea.
The Jack Ma Foundation announced on its Weibo account on the 5th that it will send 1 million masks to Korea as soon as possible. The supplied masks will be distributed to those in need through the Korean Red Cross, it added.
The Jack Ma Foundation also shared photos of masks stored at Alibaba's affiliated logistics company.
The Jack Ma Foundation said, "During our very difficult times, supplies from Korea helped alleviate extreme hardships," and added, "We hope to contribute our strength as well." It continued, "As neighbors sharing a border, let's endure the storm together," and "We hope the situation in Korea improves as soon as possible."
