38-Year-Old Male in Gangnam-gu, Seoul Tests Positive for COVID-19... Disinfection Work Underway at Movement Locations
Gangnam-gu, Seoul announced that a 38-year-old man living in Yeoksam-dong was notified as a confirmed COVID-19 case at around 11:50 a.m. on the 5th. Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul has increased to at least 106.
According to the first epidemiological investigation, this patient is a colleague of a previously confirmed case who is an employee of Identity Games located in Gangnam-gu (the 7th confirmed case in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province, a 36-year-old woman), and has been working from home since the 28th of last month.
From the 28th of last month to the 4th of this month, he visited convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes near Eonju Station, Seolleung Station, and Kkachisan Station in Yeoksam-dong, and was tested at the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 3rd of this month.
Gangnam-gu has completed disinfection of the locations confirmed to have been visited by this patient so far.

Earlier, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the number of confirmed cases counted as occurring in Seoul was 105 as of 10 a.m. on the 5th, and the new confirmed case in Gangnam-gu was not included in that count.
