Colonel Chen Wei of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Military Medical Sciences appeared on a CCTV program and stated that the research team has made significant progress in developing a COVID-19 vaccine. He mentioned, "We are putting all our efforts into conducting clinical trials for the vaccine currently under development," and added, "President Xi Jinping pointed out that the vaccine is crucial for epidemic prevention and control efforts.
