View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Actress Kim Bu-seon expressed her gratitude to Ahn Cheol-soo, the leader of the People’s Party, who is volunteering at a COVID-19 regional base hospital in Daegu.
On the 2nd, Kim Bu-seon posted on her Facebook an article titled "'Doctor' Ahn Cheol-soo and his wife volunteering for medical treatment in Daegu: 'I will come again tomorrow'" and added, "Thank you, doctor Kim Mi-kyung and Ahn Cheol-soo."
Earlier, on the 1st, Ahn visited Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital with his wife Kim Mi-kyung to volunteer in medical treatment for COVID-19 patients.
It was reported that around 5:30 PM that day, he came out of the hospital drenched in sweat and told reporters, "I will come again tomorrow."
On the same day, Ahn issued a statement criticizing the government’s response to COVID-19.
Ahn said, "Watching the helpless government, I cannot help but ask whether the country is fulfilling its role and responsibility now," and pointed out, "What lessons has this administration learned and what has it fixed from the Sewol ferry disaster, SARS, and MERS incidents?"

He added, "The people are rebuilding the hope that the administration has destroyed. Since the country cannot do it, the people themselves are demonstrating greatness and overcoming adversity," and said, "The state is invisible and the government is incompetent, but we have hope and confidence that we can overcome this in a short time."
