Yujin Group, Affiliate Dongyang Expands 'Plant Business Orders'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Eugene Group announced on the 2nd that its affiliate Dongyang has won the contract for the construction of the second linear warehouse with a capacity of 80,000 tons, ordered by comprehensive logistics company Kumho T&L.
This contract is a project to build a linear warehouse and transfer facilities capable of storing 80,000 tons of thermal coal. Since 2013, Kumho T&L has been operating thermal coal unloading, storage, and transportation facilities at Nakpo Coal Pier in Yeosu, Jeonnam.
In this project, Dongyang will be responsible for foundation pile work, reinforced concrete work, roof fabrication and installation. It will also construct auxiliary facilities such as conveyor belts for transporting thermal coal, electrical instrumentation facilities, fire-fighting, and water supply lines. The project is valued at approximately 16.4 billion KRW and is scheduled for completion in December.
Following last year, Dongyang expects to gain further momentum in its plant business as its sales capabilities are strengthened through new orders.

A Dongyang official said, "We have achieved a remarkable increase in order performance based on accumulated technology and professional capabilities," adding, "We plan to continuously enhance our competitiveness in securing orders through market diversification and create synergy effects by linking plant and rotating machinery businesses."
