At the ceremony held on the 28th of last month (local time), KT received the Gold Award for its customer center program ‘Soficker,’ the Silver Award for the ‘Amazing Handwritten Letter’ campaign, and the Bronze Award for the ‘AI Customer Center Solution.’ The ‘Soficker’ program of KT’s customer center, which won the Gold Award in the ‘Best Use of Customer Service Technology’ category, is a system that allows consultation consultants closest to customers to freely suggest customer inconveniences within the company. ‘Soficker’ is a compound word of the Chinese character ‘소 (small)’ and the English word ‘Speaker.’ This system received high praise from judges worldwide for fostering a creative and innovative work atmosphere and increasing employees’ sense of ownership and participation.
The ‘Amazing Handwritten Letter’ campaign received the Silver Award in the ‘Customer Service Innovation’ category along with judges’ evaluation of ‘genuine customer communication.’ The ‘AI Customer Center Solution,’ which won the Bronze Award in the ‘Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Web Solutions’ category, also attracted attention. KT’s customer center plans to introduce ‘AI Voice Consultation (Voicebot)’ in the future to further drastically reduce customer waiting times.
