Jeonnam Province Provides Emergency Support Including 'Masks' to Yeosu and Suncheon
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province (Governor Kim Young-rok) announced on the 1st that it has urgently supplied 40,000 masks and 2,000 hand sanitizers to Yeosu City and Suncheon City, where the 2nd and 3rd confirmed COVID-19 cases in Jeonnam occurred.
In addition, to prevent infection among students from basic livelihood security households, Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education was provided with 10,000 masks. For emergency patient transport in island areas and police station placement, Mokpo Coast Guard received 3,000 masks and 100 hand sanitizers. The Army Infantry School (located in Jangseong) trainees were urgently supplied with 5,000 masks and 300 hand sanitizers.
