Asia and Halla Cement Donate 20 Million Won to Daegu Branch of Korean Red Cross
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Halla Cement and its parent company Asia Cement announced on the 1st that they have donated a total of 20 million KRW to the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross to support medical activities in the Daegu area amid the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This support is part of each company's ongoing commitment to fulfilling corporate social responsibility and contributing to the local community.
At the Asia Group level, the group also participated in the support, with the holding company Asia donating 10 million KRW, and Gyeongsan Paper, a subsidiary of Asia Paper with a business site in Daegu, donating 20 million KRW, totaling 50 million KRW from four companies combined.
