Doosan Group Donates 1 Billion KRW... Chairman Park Jeong-won Hopes to Aid COVID-19 Damage Recovery
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Doosan Group announced on the 27th that it will donate 1 billion KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and support victims.
This donation will be used to support medical staff and quarantine officials who are struggling due to shortages of protective suits, masks, and other quarantine supplies.
Park Jung-won, Chairman of Doosan Group, said, "All citizens are united in sending support to the medical staff and officials working hard on the front lines of quarantine," adding, "We hope our small contribution will help bring a swift end to COVID-19 and aid in damage recovery."
