[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Amid the domestic blood supply shortage caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), Eastar Jet has participated in blood donation volunteer work.
Eastar Jet announced on the 27th that it conducted a blood donation volunteer program together with the Korean Red Cross at its headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 26th.
This blood donation volunteer work was carried out through the voluntary participation of executives and employees, with about 40 people participating through on-site registration and prior application.

An Eastar Jet official stated, "Due to the impact of COVID-19, the blood donation participation rate has been low, and as the blood stock has decreased, supply and demand have become difficult," adding, "In addition to this blood donation volunteer work, we will carry out campaigns such as hand sanitizer distribution to overcome the difficulties caused by COVID-19 together."
