Hwasun-gun to Operate 'Agricultural Machinery Rental Center' Starting Next Month on the 2nd
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 27th that it will operate the agricultural machinery rental centers even on holidays from next month 2nd to November 30th during the farming season.
Due to extended working hours during the farming season, rental center staff will work from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on holidays including Saturdays and Sundays.
On weekdays, work will start one hour earlier from 8 a.m.
Currently, 406 units of 67 types of agricultural machinery are rented out at two rental centers: the main office (Neungju-myeon) and the branch office (Dongbok-myeon).
Since the usage rate of agricultural machinery is high during the farming season, it is recommended to visit the center, call, or make a reservation through the website in advance to rent machinery when needed.
An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, “With holiday work and starting work one hour earlier on weekdays, we will ensure that farmers have no inconvenience in using rental agricultural machinery in a timely manner,” and added, “Since agricultural machinery accidents frequently occur during the farming season, please adhere to safety usage rules.”
