Daejeon Provides 30 Billion Won Support to Small Businesses Affected by COVID-19
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Support funds for small business owners affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) will be provided in the Daejeon area.
According to Daejeon City on the 27th, the day before, Mayor Heo Tae-jeong received a special donation of 2 billion KRW from Hana Bank to support small business owners affected by COVID-19.
Present at the event were Mayor Heo, Yoon Soon-ki, General Manager of Hana Bank Chungcheong Sales Group, and Song Gwi-seong, Chairman of the Daejeon Credit Guarantee Foundation.
The city will ensure that Hana Bank's donation is channeled through the Daejeon Credit Guarantee Foundation to support local small business owners. Additionally, the Daejeon Credit Guarantee Foundation plans to separately provide 30 billion KRW in emergency stabilization funds to small business owners struggling due to the COVID-19 situation under a guarantee agreement.
Separately, starting from the 26th, Hana Bank decided to open and operate a 'COVID-19 Dedicated Counter' at 40 Hana Bank branches within Daejeon to exclusively support small business owners affected by COVID-19.
