Kumho Tire Wins Main Awards for 3 Products at North America Good Design Awards
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kumho Tire announced on the 25th that three of its products won the main awards in the Transportation Design category at the 2019 North American Good Design Awards.
The North American Good Design Awards, which began in 1950 and have been recognized worldwide for their tradition and prestige for 69 years, are design awards decided by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies in each field.
This year, Kumho Tire was honored with awards for three products. The awarded products are the premium sedan high-performance tire "Majesty 9 Solus TA91" (abbreviated as "Majesty 9"), "Ecsta PA51," and "Wintercraft Wi51."
"Majesty 9" is the successor to Majesty Solus, a high-performance premium product that enhances ride comfort and quietness compared to the previous model. "Ecsta PA51" is a new all-season tire exclusively for North America, combining sporty performance with comfort. "Wintercraft Wi51" is a European-style winter tire that delivers excellent performance on snowy and icy roads.
