BTS to Hold Global Press Conference via YouTube Live Stream Without On-site Participants

On the 23rd, BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment stated in an official press release, "Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), Big Hit has decided to conduct the 'BTS Global Press Conference' scheduled for tomorrow as a YouTube live broadcast only, without on-site participants, to minimize any risk."
They added, "We sincerely apologize to the many media personnel who were looking forward to BTS's press conference," and "It is necessary to refrain from events where many people gather due to the spread of COVID-19, and this measure is to actively cooperate with the government's COVID-19 response."
Earlier, BTS released their seventh full-length album 'MAP OF THE SOUL:7' on the 21st.
