Joint Crackdown on Illegal Banners in Seodaemun-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, and Mapo-gu
Improving Urban Aesthetics through Collaboration among Adjacent Districts in Northwest Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) announced that more than 10 advertising staff from Seodaemun, Eunpyeong, and Mapo District Offices, located in the northwest area of Seoul, conducted a joint crackdown on illegal banners in the Eunpyeong area on the afternoon of the 19th.
They divided Eunpyeong-gu into three zones and removed 53 banners while moving by vehicle through their assigned areas.
This crackdown follows the ‘Northwest 3 Districts Joint Response Agreement on Illegal Banners’ signed last November by Seodaemun, Eunpyeong, and Mapo Districts to create a safe and pleasant urban landscape free of illegal banners.
