Autonomous Legislation Consultation 119 is a program that provides consultations on drafting and implementing ordinances and regulations through the Q&A corner of the Government Legislation Support Center or by phone.
The program was created to promptly provide consultation opinions in response to requests from local governments to present opinions in a timely manner and resolve current issues.
Additionally, the Ministry will operate the 'Visiting Autonomous Legislation Collaboration Center' over 40 times targeting local governments, local councils, and offices of education.
The Ministry of Government Legislation has annually visited local governments about 30 times to provide comprehensive consultations and education focused on drafting, interpreting, and revising local regulations on-site.
This year, the Ministry will increase the number of targets and visits to support the strengthening of legislative capabilities of local governments.
Kim Hyung-yeon, head of the Ministry of Government Legislation, expressed expectations that "by expanding the operation of Autonomous Legislation Consultation 119 and the Visiting Autonomous Legislation Collaboration Center, we will provide prompt consultations to local governments and contribute to resolving current issues."
