Hwasun-gun and Chosun Polytechnic University Sign MOU to Establish Sports Welfare System
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun County, Jeollanam-do (County Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 20th that it has signed a "Business Agreement for the Establishment of a Sports Welfare System" with Chosun University of Science and Technology (President Jo Soon-gye).
Through this agreement, Chosun University of Science and Technology will establish a sports convergence welfare system to improve the quality of life of local residents by promoting everyday sports and developing and operating sports rehabilitation programs.
The two institutions plan to promote ▲ research, development, and implementation of sports welfare policies for residents' health promotion ▲ development and operation of preventive health promotion programs in response to a super-aged society ▲ operation of sports rehabilitation and everyday sports programs linked with living SOC facilities through mutual organic cooperation.
The county is striving to activate everyday sports by encouraging each resident to engage in at least one sport, expanding public sports facilities such as building a boxing gym, and distributing customized programs so that people of all ages and genders can easily participate in everyday sports.
