Yeonggwang-gun Awarded 'Grand Prize' in Evaluation of Integrated National and Local Tax Civil Service Office Operation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 20th that it received the 'Grand Prize' in the integrated national and local tax civil service office operation evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, along with a special grant of 150 million won as an incentive.
This evaluation was conducted targeting local governments nationwide that installed and operated integrated national and local tax civil service offices, assessing efforts to establish integrated civil service offices, promotion of operational activation, and excellent cases.
The county received the highest scores in all areas.
Previously, in October last year, the county became the first in Jeollanam-do to install and operate an integrated national and local tax civil service office in the annex of the county office, minimizing inconvenience to civil petitioners by simultaneously handling national and local tax-related tasks.
Also, as a result of operating the integrated civil service office, over 7,000 civil petitions have been processed.
To promote the use of the integrated civil service office, the county operated a National and Local Tax Integrated Consultation Day with village tax accountants, providing free consultations and receiving great responses from residents.
