3 New COVID-19 Cases in Singapore... 2 Infected at Church
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunwoo Lee] Two additional cases of novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Singapore. Among them, 2 were reported to have been infected at a church. In Singapore, out of a total of 84 confirmed cases, about 30%, or 28 people, were infected at churches.
According to foreign media including the AP News, on the 20th, the Singapore Ministry of Health announced that 3 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 84. The other confirmed case, who was not infected at a church, was originally hospitalized as a dengue fever patient and later tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, investigations are being conducted to determine whether other patients who shared the hospital room during the dengue fever hospitalization, as well as the hospital medical staff who treated the dengue fever, have been infected with COVID-19.
