On the morning of the 20th, CJ Olive Young held a donation ceremony for single-parent families at the Holt Children's Welfare Association headquarters in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Amid growing concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, CJ Olive Young prepared 10,000 health and hygiene products such as masks and antibacterial wet wipes for single-parent families, who have relatively low social attention and support. The items donated by CJ Olive Young will be distributed to single parents and children who are in environments vulnerable to infection.
Since 2016, CJ Olive Young has been supporting single-parent families through the Holt Children's Welfare Association, consistently practicing shared management that contributes to improving women's healthy beauty and quality of life. In addition to regular sponsorship, the company plans to actively carry out social contribution activities that participate in social issues and expand practical support.
A CJ Olive Young official stated, “As we pursue 'healthy beauty' as a core brand value, we are making efforts in various ways to prevent and contain the spread of the novel coronavirus infection,” adding, “We will continue to take the lead in supporting vulnerable groups including single-parent families and carry out diverse sharing activities for a better life.”
