Korea Accounting Standards Board Reappoints Chairman Kim Eui-hyung
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] The Korea Accounting Standards Board announced on the 19th, at the 2nd General Assembly of Members in 2020, that the current chairman Kim Eui-hyung was reappointed as the 8th Chairman of the Korea Accounting Standards Board.
Kim, who will serve as the 8th chairman following his 7th term, will also concurrently serve as the chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee.
The term of office is three years, from March 1 of this year to February 28, 2023.

Chairman Kim graduated from the Department of Economics at Seoul National University and completed a master's degree in Business Administration at the same university's graduate school. He has since served as CEO of Samil Accounting Corporation, CEO of PwC Consulting, a member of the Korea Exchange Disclosure Committee, and a member of the Fair Trade Commission.
