Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Personnel Appointments for 1,603 Educational Public Officials
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education carried out personnel changes for 1,603 educational public officials effective March 1 on the 18th.
This personnel change was made to address the rotation of long-term employees at the same school (institution), reallocation of personnel due to new school openings, school closures, retirements, and business changes, filling vacant positions, and alleviating difficulties caused by long-distance commuting.
The city education office notified educational public officials in advance of schools available for transfer and allowed them to list up to 10 preferred schools on the transfer application form, thus granting them the right to choose their school. Among the 260 newly hired educational public officials in the first half of this year, 240 were assigned considering their place of residence and other factors.
