[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] KakaoTalk has introduced a 'Mention Conversation Partner' feature.
According to Kakao on the 18th, the mention feature, which appears when updating KakaoTalk to the latest version, allows users to refer to a specific conversation partner within a group chat room.
When you type '@' in the input box, all users in the chat room are displayed below. You can select the desired person from among them and send a message.
In KakaoTalk settings, you can choose whether to use the feature by selecting Notifications and then Mention Notifications. Even if chat room notifications are turned off, if the mention notification option is enabled, you will receive alerts.
