Preliminary Candidate Shin Jeong-hoon Announces Policy Pledge to Revitalize Culture and Arts
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Shin Jeong-hoon, the Democratic Party of Korea's preliminary candidate for the National Assembly representing Naju·Hwasun, Jeonnam, announced a pledge on the 14th to promote and revitalize local culture and arts.
Regarding the Democratic Party of Korea's cultural and arts support measures announced on the 12th as part of the April 15 general election pledges, preliminary candidate Shin Jeong-hoon stated, "We will work to expand cultural and artistic infrastructure in Naju·Hwasun and broaden creative support projects for local artists."
He emphasized, "Since the Democratic Party of Korea plans to provide a total of 2.6774 trillion won, including 528 billion won for cultural and artistic creation support by 2024, local measures and implementation projects must be prepared accordingly."
Furthermore, preliminary candidate Shin Jeong-hoon pledged to secure creative spaces for local cultural artists and establish support projects for veteran cultural artists to encourage creative motivation.
This includes expanding cultural and artistic infrastructure where creation and cultural enjoyment coexist, such as traditional cultural arts performance halls and transmission centers, the National Naju Museum complex cultural center, Hwasun Dongbok Garden Cultural Complex, and Hwasun Community Cultural Center.
