Gamevil Reports 119.7 Billion KRW in Revenue and 17.1 Billion KRW Operating Loss Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Gamevil announced on the 12th that it recorded sales of 119.7 billion KRW and an operating loss of 17.1 billion KRW last year.
In the fourth quarter of last year, sales were 29.8 billion KRW and operating loss was 4.6 billion KRW.
Gamevil stated that 'Gamevil Pro Baseball Superstars' newly contributed to increased sales, confirming its potential in the global market, and that steady updates of existing titles such as 'Become a Star!' achieved solid sales.
This year, the company aims to enter a full-fledged growth trajectory through expanding the global release of 'Gamevil Pro Baseball Superstars,' a highly anticipated lineup in overseas markets, and improving profitability of existing titles.
'Gamevil Pro Baseball Superstars' is scheduled to be launched in the North American and Japanese markets.
Gamevil said, "We expect 'Project CARS GO,' which realistically implements the global famous racing game intellectual property (IP) on mobile, to also receive positive responses in the global market."
