Disinfectant Water Tanks Installed at 21 Administrative Welfare Centers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Seo Daeseok) has prepared so that residents can carry out disinfection and sterilization against the novel coronavirus anytime and anywhere.
Gwangsan-gu announced on the 12th that it has designated the period until the 16th as a mass disinfection period to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and installed 400ℓ water tanks storing disinfectant at 21 administrative welfare centers.
This measure was prepared to support disinfection for not only social organizations but also individuals such as households and stores.
The water tanks, labeled with the phrase "Let's share together! Free distribution of disinfectant," are equipped with a faucet and a 50 cm long hose, allowing anyone to easily take disinfectant.

A Gwangsan-gu official said, "Children and citizens with sensitive skin are advised to refrain from receiving disinfectant," and added, "To avoid congestion, individuals are requested to visit the local administrative welfare centers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for personal disinfection."
