[Concall] Wemade "Positive on License Approval... Expecting New Title Sales in China"
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of Wemade, expressed a positive outlook on the issuance of Chinese game licenses (game operation permits) for Korean game companies.
During the 2019 Q4 earnings conference call held on the 12th, CEO Jang said, "It is cautious to mention," but added, "When confirming with Chinese game and government officials regarding the licenses, there were many positive signals."
He added, "Although things may change due to the coronavirus, overall there was a lot of positive information."

Regarding the release timing of new titles, CEO Jang stated, "The release schedule has not been set, but the releases are expected in the order of Mir 4, Mir W, and Mir M, and in China, we expect much larger sales than in Korea."
